With the introduction of SharePoint 2010 at the SharePoint Conference that took place this week, mass of info has been released on the web. Accordingly, I advise that you begin your hunt quest for crawling the web and fetching the new information that currently floats online.

In the meantime, allow me to share with you some of the useful information and links that have been released.

As it is customary when you get to know someone new to first be introduced with their name, so allow me to inform you that SharePoint has been rebranded and will now be known as:

Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 (SPF2010) the new name for Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) – Free edition with Windows Server 2008
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 (SPS2010) the new name for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) – Licensed edition
